Church + Climate Resilience Spatial Justice Series to Begin November 2024

Updated: Apr 7, 2025

Design for Peace, a program of the SW Washington Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) is offering a 4-part webinar series on how the Church can engage in climate resilience. We approach this work through a place-based, spatial justice lens.

Live Zoom sessions will feature multiple "on-ramps" for faith communities to participate in the technical, spiritual, and community work of climate resilience in their context. Spotlight topics to include: Solar Power, Indigenous Perspectives on Climate Crisis, Feeding Ministry, Church Forests, and more. Practitioners, experts, authors, and artists will come together to help answer: How can your faith community build climate resilience in your place?
